bannedfromHandV Posted September 18, 2021 Share Posted September 18, 2021 Not sure I agree with keeping the same formation, it worked against Chelsea because it matched up with their setup better (don’t think Everton set up that way) and also because in the first half we had the luxury of being a player up on them essentially with Saul as a bystander for most of the time. Yes but unlike Chelsea, Everton will sit deep and not play out from the back. I'd favor another attacker rather than another defender. It will change through the game, we will see Bailey, Traore and I reckon Buendia before the game ends, so who knows how it will pan out as a formation.
