Theres defo a conversation to be had about "oh shit that actor was in that?!/that character?!"

Stolen from the movie thread.

I'll start with Cuba Gooding Jr and Geena Davis in Coming to America and Tootsie respectively

Wow, I didn't realise that Gina Davis was that old.

I saw a bit of Earth Girls are Easy the other day 😍😍

Not a movie but the other day there was an old A Touch of Frost episode on and a very very young Damian Lewis in it.

Probably not quite the thing you’re looking for, but I was reading about Joan Rivers the other day and I stumbled on her sole directorial venture featuring an early role for Billy Crystal. This is sixteen years before the film “Junior”. The film also marks the beginning of the film career for Michael Keaton. Currently rated at a mighty 3.1 on IMDb.

I’ve mentioned it before but it surprised me when I found out that Arnold Toht from Raiders of the Lost Ark, the baby eating Bishop of Bath & Wells from Blackadder and Harris from Porridge were all played by Ronald Lacey.

Is that the swimming episode one?

FYI the girl who played the pretty blonde married Keith Allen.

A couple of early Jeff Goldblum appearances, Annie Hall and Death Wish.

Sigourney Weaver also appears in Annie Hall. Not so much as blink and you’ll miss her, more like squint and you may see her.

Jake Gyllenhaal is Billy Crystal’s son in City Slickers.

Veering away from films, Xena: Warrior Princess is an absolute treasure trove...

Anyone memba David from the David & Goliath story in Xena: Warrior Princess?: TheBoys

Nathan Barley had a pre-breakout Benedict Cumberbatch and Ben Whishaw...

...and I'm not even going into X-Files, would take far too long.

Great thread. First one that came to mind for me was Jimmy Fallon in Almost Famous

I haven't seen that film but a character who looks like that gives the vibe of probably having a pretty dubious browser search history 😂
