Caleb Chuka looks tricky and silky.

Carney Chuka is class.

Bidace is class.

Nakamba cant control a ball.

Hourihane was ok but just showed again his limitations imo.

On a side note, you realise how dreadfully fickle certain Villa fans are, when your old man complains about Smith playing two in the middle and only beating Barrow 0-6

JPB and Carney Chukwumeka, Archer, Lindley late on all look to have a good understanding. Be good to see them tried at a better level. Be that the cups or the league I think they're about ready for it.

AEG easy MOTM, easy to see why he gets picked for the first team over JPB.

Archer, brilliant hat trick. 2nd best player tonight. 

Carney, Ramsey and Caleb looked tidy too.

Can’t wait for all these youngsters to develop. I think our academy is due a golden generation… these kids could be it

Dare I say it, but there is a clear style of play at all levels of this club now - those youngsters blended with the seniors seamlessly. Very bloody bright future.

Professional performance.

Good minutes for the bench players, great experience for the kids and a dream come true for Cameron Archer.

Favourite moment for me is that ball from JPB for the sixth - just brilliant.

All our youngins look the real deal.  Great set up from Deano and performance all around.  

MOTM: 

• Archer - Looked a lot like Watkins.  Mainly plays on the right for the U23s, but was running everywhere for the ball.  Great full debut for the lad.

Honorable mentions: 

• JPB - What a player...  He is continuing to impress in the first team.  Was unlucky to not pick up a goal or two himself and played one of the nastiest balls I've ever seen into Archer for his 3rd.  
• El Ghazi - I'm probably his biggest critic, but he was outstanding today.  Made Barrow and their fans look silly today.
• Guilbert - Looked very good today too.

Other thoughts:

• Tuanzebe and Hause needed the extra practice because they looked a bit off pace and rusty still.
• Hourihane is still class.
• Carney Chuck will need more time to adapt to men's football.  Need to be patient with the lad.  He's shown glimpses of what he can do, but I anticipate he'll need another year or two of development before he'll start for us in the Prem.
• Caleb Chuck looks like a proper beast of a center forward.  Can't wait to continue to watch him for the U23s.
