villa89
We scored. From a corner. A corner. Give him an 8 year deal and a statue! Edited September 18, 2021 by villa89

Popular Post KentVillan
He gets a lot of stick when we don’t score from every single set piece. But it’s clear to me our threat from throws, corners and FKs has increased massively since he arrived. I’m sure by the end of the season he’ll be seen as one of our best signings ever.
Popular Post Okonokos
The set piece routine after 15 minutes when Cash played it short to Targett, changing the angle for him to play it to Konsa at the back post who nodded it down to Mings who controlled it for Ings was so good to watch. I think it's a work of art to come up with clever set piece routines like that. He's had such an obvious immediate impact. 16

PieFacE Posted September 19, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted September 19, 2021 Our set pieces are so much better since this guy joined. Kinda makes me wonder why we haven't had a set piece coach in the past.

It seems such an obvious way to gain an advantage in a match.

Popular Post Tomaszk
That one first half was like an NFL play or something. Excellent. Nice moment when Doug shot from that silly narrow angle FK; over on the bench Cutler gestured to him 'WTF was that then' with a smirk. He looks likes he lives in the woods with only worms to eat and set-pieces to study. Edited September 19, 2021 by Tomaszk

Takes a manager to realize he is weak in that department and seek to improve and a front office willing to pay the salary of an extra coach. We have both and long may it continue.
