We have one of the best attacks in the league. Had shin splints stayed it would have been top 3/4 level. Bailey is the best signing we've made for a very very long time.

Window not over mate.

There's a gaping hole on the left waiting to be filled with star power.

( After re reading that.... I realise I watch too much porn )

I don’t want to be a lil Villa sensitive soul but I can’t shake the feeling he isn’t particularly thrilled to be here and we are just a stepping stone. Don’t really mind provided he delivers the goods whilst he IS here, but that’s just the feeling I’m getting.

He isn't intending to hang around playing mid-table football in the long run, that's for sure. Same can be said for a few of our players tbh.

Do not think NSWE are intending to hang around playing mid-table football in the short term let alone long run either

Exactly.

I think we have to accept that the players we are signing this summer, aren't coming here for where we are currently, but for where our ambitions lie. And if they perform individually but we as a club we fail to make the leap, they will look to leave for somebody who will.

Some of them will be more up-front about this than others. But the same goes for Buendia and to a degree Danny Ings too, I have no doubt about that.

Stayed with Leverkeusen for 4 years . If he stays with Villa for 4 years i will be more than happy. The only thing stopping him from being a World Class star is consistency and 15 goals and 11 assists last season is consistent enough for me . He burst onto the scene then had a couple of poor seasons and then last season smashed it . No reason whatsoever that he cannot repeat what he did last season. He has huge pace huge skill and huge awareness . A real team player in a position where its normally all about them.

The guy looks absolutely unstoppable, hope that's what we're getting because his leg work looks astonishing the way he moves, even the slow motions on the camera slow down fails to slow his legs down 🤣

The goal is to build a competitive squad that has resell value in the long run as we push for higher finishes and Europe. At least we know it will be re-invested well if we don’t reach those heights. Can’t fault the ambition. Bailey will give it his all.
