Cant wait, just cant wait. Not been to VP since the first lockdown. So looking forward to seeing the new lads and show them what Villa Park is like when its rocking. I think it will be a shock to some of them

I reckon it will be most attended friendly since we played Santos the night Pele came to Villa park (yes I am old enough to have been there that night 54,000 attended)

Inter Milan was 36k a few years back. Can’t see it topping that .

Probably get circa 30k

Probably get around 30k (ish)

Around 8k tickets left to buy on the Villa website.    So looks like 34,000 attendance if no away fans section.

Looking to buy 2 tickets but can anyone tell me what restrictions are in place?

Mask wearing? Tested?

Have e mailed club and spent 2 hours on hold to try and ask them

From the ticket confirmation email...

"Before travelling to Villa Park, all fans must assess their own health and the health of those in their group, and understand the risks of attending the game. The lead booker will receive an SMS on the morning of the game as a reminder.

The turnstiles at Villa Park will open approximately 90 minutes before kick-off and where possible it is recommended that supporters arrive early to ensure you don't miss kick-off should there be any delays.

All tickets are print-at-home and collections are not currently possible, this ticket may be presented on a mobile phone (NFC may need to be switched off). You must stick within your ticket ‘bubble’ and abide by all stadium regulations whilst maintaining social distancing."

Will Bailey be available for selection? I was under the impression he was in Jamaica until recently.

Would be great to see all the new signings involved

I'm guessing no. If he was in the country, I think we'd have seen him holding a shirt up by now.

I’ve not been to VP since early 2020 (obv!) anyone know where is best to park? I used to drive up Grosvenor Road/Queens Road and park at one of the cash and carries (mostly don’t do that anymore) or somewhere along there. Anyone know where is best for parking along there these days?
