Italy are an absolute joy to watch. Technically excellent and they don’t stop running! The freedom they play with is fantastic - polar opposite to England.

Everything that England could be with a better manager!

England can play like this is the manager set us up to do it

I watch this and see all the guff surrounding our team about pace and strength and out dated philosophies of English football

This Italian team can do everything

It's a remarkable Italy squad, cause it's the first time in my life they are entering a tournament with a squad without superstars expected to carry the team. This is an Italy squad that's 100% a team, and anyone that knows anything of football should be worried about that. Since day one, it's looked very likely they will win it.

Barella is a good watch, but their entire 3 man midfield looks pretty balanced.

Mancini should be a hot name for any top club looking for a manager

Nah, he shouldn't.

International football is a different sport

2006 Italy wasn't a star lead team. It had the likes of Pirlo, Gattuso, Totti but it wasn't a circus designed to accommodate them like Portugal or Argentina.

Del Piero couldn't get a look in because he didn't fit the team

It’s strange that he doesn’t get mentioned in the same bracket as some of these top manager given his success at City

His success at city is overrated

Didn't win anywhere near enough
