Game is tomorrow and we've not even got a second page yet. Has VT turned into TBAR?

I think there’s a general apathy that’s seeped in recently. The season has stumbled to an end and most people want it over now, even though it’s been a success on the whole.

You never know, there could be a surprise left in the last two games, but it seems doubtful.

I’d like to see this in the last two games (because we have limited options).

Elmo lets us down and makes us vulnerable. He really isn’t cut out for the tougher games. Served us well but his time is up.

Ramsey isn’t good enough or ready (a loan would be best next season).

I don’t really rate Nakamba (limited) but wouldn’t be against bringing him in.

                           Martinez

Konsa.        Mings.      Hause.      Targett

                      Luiz.       McGinn

                               Jack

Traore.               Watkins.        El Ghazi

If we can play like we did in the first half at Palace for the whole game tomorrow, then we might just hit the 50-point mark. They have something left to play for still, but it seems that we or at least some of our team had settled for 11th some time ago. Our last win at White Hart Lane came in 2015 and we have lost by two goals on our three subsequent visits (twice in the league & once in the FA Cup). Overall, we have won 50 and have drawn 34 of the 149 league games, that have been played between the two clubs. This looks like being the last time we will face Harry Kane in a Spurs shirt and it would be nice not to finish as the losing side this time. We do not want to give them a sixth successive win and a second league double over us on the trot. A win would be best, but failing that avoiding defeat would be more than acceptable. Just avoid defeat and play for the whole game for us Villa!

Been a poor end to the season of course but it’s still nice to be able to be on the beach for the last 5-6 matches after everything we’ve been through for the past few years!

Quite ironic reading some of their anger against their board on the Fighting Cock forum: https://thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/tottenham-vs-villa-wed-19th-may-ko-6pm-live-on-sky.41042/page-7

We get told by our own fans that we're unrealistic and delusional and unreasonable for expecting more from Smith yet they're going on about Levy and co like they've hung the club out to dry - despite building a magnificent stadium, getting them competing for the top four every season, keeping their debt down (until they built the new stadium), selling players at premium prices and not to rival Premier League clubs. Jeez, with the owners we've had I'd have snapped their hand for Levy for the last two decades.

For a lot of my time following football Spurs were more of an also ran than us and in fact were below us pretty much every season while I was a kid. I know we've been exceptionally badly run over the years so they've moved ahead of us, but they are almost as entitled as United fans despite being nowhere near as big.

As far as the game is concerned, we desperately need Mings back in and Jack to start. Our record against them is effing awful recently, can we please get something out of it even a point. Need to end the season with some good performances and results.

Really is zero to play for now.

Virtually impossible to get top half

I would like us to get 50 points. Doesn't mean a lot in the grand schemes but I don't want us to be hanging on 49 by the final whistle on Sunday.

Can't see us getting anything buddy.

Both Spurs and Chelsea have a lot to play for.

We truly looked in beach mode against Palace.

So how did we get 4 points versus Everton?

Look at Brighton tonight, you can get random results in the last few games.

The last time we had a decent season in the prem we beat Arsenal and Liverpool in our last 2 matches.

Quite a long way into this season it looked like we were on for 60 plus. Not achieving 50 would feel very disappointing. It’s unlikely we can get a win in either of our last two matches so a scrambled draw will have to do.

Dag end of the season. Could go either way. I reckon we will win mainly because Grealish will be desperate to get up to speed for the Euros.

Should be a cracking game to be fair. Looking forward to it.
