All nice n easy for 25 mins but as soon as they put their foot in we didn't want the battle and they ran out deserving winners.

We are definitely a team at the beach and that lies at the managers feet, but calls for him out are ridiculous despite wrong selections / subs / timing of subs ETC.

We are just too powder puff and when the referee let's lots of the niggly stuff go  for them (like today) the result is inevitable.

Hoping for a big summer window.

Once again we were diabolical in the second half but I'm surprised how few have mentioned the refereeing. It was genuinely awful.

We started very well, but it all nosedived after McGinn’s lovely opener. We were sloppy, and we were outmuscled and outfought. We didn’t really deserve anything from the game.

We can blame ourselves, but the ref was absolutely a classic homer. A complete and utter knob. Their winner was handball - and their defenders had carte blanche on Ollie, wich made it hard for us to make the ball stick up front.

I hate the standard of officiating in this league so much. The ref helped Palace greatly.

Rubbish. Ended up throwing this season away. Another summer of big spending and European qualification is a must. Let’s just get to the end of the season and hope we can keep jack

I really wonder how long these refereeing performances can go on. I feel we've had more of these horrific borderline dodgy performances than average ones this season.

Why the club never takes action on it baffles me.

Disappointing, a game we could and probably should have won.

Palace were always going to score goals against us - we're not great at defending a team that have players that can run at you and do the unexpected - they're a team that have a lot of weapons going forward.

That said, with the amount of play we had going forward we should still have scored enough goals to win it.

The game hinged on Roy Hodgson's tactical change where he pushed his midfielders forward to stop us playing out through Luiz - we never really looked comfortable after that and we couldn't hold on to the ball. 

Ramsey was bright and quick and McGinn did a lot of good things, but neither of them are particularly suited to a possession game and once we ceded possession it was really difficult - if you give Palace enough of the ball they have the weapons to beat anyone.

We needed another two midfield options today - the highest of the three midfielders, the position in front of Luiz and McGinn, is becoming a problem; Barkley gives you no energy but the occasional bit of creativity, Ramsey gives you masses of energy but no end product - it's one we need to sort out. We also need to try to find a player who can come off the bench for John McGinn because he is regularly fading out of games after an hour - maybe Nakamba, maybe Sanson in future, but we need to look at it.

I think our weaker areas were pretty clear and I think they can all be fixed in the summer - as a demonstration of those things there was a very useful lesson on offer to us.

I thought Elmo and Hause did well, Martinez was excellent, Luiz was good, McGinn good for an hour and Watkins was very good, but we're not quite there in terms of squad depth of quality.

Ultimately we lost the game because Roy Hodgson is a very good manager and Palace have individuals that can hurt you if you can't control the ball.

I can't see us winning either of our last two, so it looks like it'll be eleventh - it's a good platform to take into the summer and I think there are areas we can make straightforward improvements in.

What's the point in all the coaches when not one can **** see the midfield is getting overrun and bring on Nakamba for one of the midfield 3 before they equalised? Instead we bring on all the strikers when the game was dead and buried. Shit ending to this season can't wait for it to end now.
