I hate this team.

Every time I sell out, they do something like that.

Overall a great performance, I still get vibes McGinn might eventually be the weakest link.

I'm baffled as to where those performances have been, as we are obviously capable.

Dean proved me wrong tonight and i'm happy he did.

I did get angsty towards the end with no changes but hard not to be pleased!

we all go through an emo phase mate, nothing to be ashamed of.

Back to the villa that is good to watch tonight, even without the win that was fantastic.

Some really good performances, Watkins, Barkley, Luiz, Cash but there is something extra majestic watching an on form Traore.

Hopefully that will see us into a strong end to the season, and helps get the massive grealish shaped monkey off our backs.

Shows the players ARE good enough so the chestnut that aint is a myth.

A very pleasing performance. Superbt play.

Great result and generally a very good performance. Should've been out of sight in the first half but Villa can't do things the easy way.

Wins and losses at this point honestly don't mean much for me now, I just know that a Villa win means VillaTalk will be a nicer place to browse for the next week 😆

We were enjoyable to watch again for the second game running.

Ollie was MOTM.
Great finish AEG.

Best performance in a long time from Barkley.

Bert and Cash first half made us look very dangerous.

Thought Konsa, McGinn & Douglas were poor.

Great result, 13 PL goals for Ollie this season, 8 for Anwar. Impressive given his gametime.

Happy days, we deserved that. UTV

See you can do it without Jack ya words removed!

Barkley added that bit of quality that’s been missing lately. There was also a lot more energy from the team. We won the physical battle and got on top from there.

Well done to El Ghazi. I’ve been his biggest critic lately but that was a solid performance with a cracking winner.

Barkley wasn't involved in any of our good chances. I didn't see him for the last 20 minutes of the game.

Was he more riled up than usual because it was Everton?

perhaps. or maybe he's finally coming out of that shite form he's been in for a long time now and showing us a glimpse of how he was at the start of the season. which is a competent footballer. very happy for him!
