Good performance, defence very solid and midfield hard working and competitive. Smith gets top marks for me, saw we needed to tighten up the midfield and chose the players and tactics accordingly. Never been a fan of pushing players up the pitch when we we don’t have the ball for the sake of it, having three orthodox central midfielders helped keep things compact and kept the spaces tighter and suffocated Leeds, we kept them at arms length with ease really. Shout to the ref, good display I felt. 
 

nakamba motm, honourable mentions to el ghazi and Ramsey , sanson pushing for a start too. Good signs

I'm going to put this back out there because it really is quite astonishing.

We have now kept more clean sheets at this stage of a season than ever before in our entire history. Incredible what is happening here under Dean Smith.

I don't subscribe to the slagging off of Leeds.....They are a good side.

We beat them, with a real savvy performance.......lets just move on.

It's not a pitch from the 60's that Leeds needed tonight, it was their team from the 60's. I'm afraid that despite what the pundits/press would have us believe, we are a considerably better team than Leeds, at the moment as tonight's performance demonstrated.

Excellent win, great work by the defence in the 2nd half. If we had taken more advantage of our dominance in the first half we wouldn’t have had to defend so long and hard. However, we won so I guess that’s just nervous carping.

Watkins MOTM for me - he was involved cleverly in most of our attacking play.

this is a squad and we need certain faces for certain games....and this was evident.

He has shown his credentials tonight and the team needs them at times....the midfield had balance and numbers.....it was much more believeable to me.

i often talk about balance.....i saw it tonight.

I wish that version of AEG was always here, really good game for him. He could have disappeared after promotion and I didn’t think he was good enough, but he has really demonstrated a great mental attitude to the point I really respect him and could quietly become a cult figure.

I dont think luiz will get his place back any time soon. Nakamba has that position to loose now!
