So is the Midfield slot being left open to Chukweumba maybe? We do have him Ramsey, Luiz, Sanson, McGinn, Nakamba & Hourihane all vying for central / DM roles afterall. Honestly didn’t get that vibe, just that those three have the abilities to cover the loss of Grealish (and a hell of a lot more different qualities too in my opinion). They can only do that with minutes. What is the point of developing the academy, if there is no room for opportunity. I think Hourihane needs to be moved on. Love him for his left peg and Championship but best for both parties. I think he’ll want to go too.
