nick76
So who is their goalkeeper with Leno out? Their new back up is injured isn’t he? So will it be the kid that came on?
WallisFrizz
Mat Ryan if he is fit, failing that Runarsson.

Kjøttbacken
Commentators said today when Runarsson came on that he’s Iceland’s nr 1, so I guess he’s not that green. 1

Tumblerseven
From what i saw Runarsson a good shot stopper but crumbles under pressure makes mistakes and does nonsensical decisions. Looks extremely inexperienced i cant believe hes 25. Edited February 3, 2021 by Tumblerseven
Rodders
before the sending off they were playing well, so they'll be a different kettle of fish from our last game in this one, but yeah at least we can test whoever their other keeper is
doaflip
They have switched their system up since the last time we played. Them playing 4 at the back will give them a bit more defensive support against our wingers then they had in the 3-0 earlier in the season. They were playing some decent stuff last night, against a pretty dire Wolves side it has to be said. They're a more concerning outfit this time around but if we win our individual battles I think we will do well. Could be another big game for our fullbacks as Arsenal have been finding joy in the ball behind the opposition full back into a winger. Need to make sure we pick our spots against them and don't overcommit, as the quick transitions could hurt us.

Yeah, he's just crap. Just basically throws the ball into his own net. The Icelandic Nyland.

He's not, didn't play either game v England in nations league. If you watch a Runnarson showreel.....
Popular Post VillaChris
Some big calls needed. No way Barkley deserves to start after that showing and I think aside from a clever pass or two SJM has gone a bit flat again. Think Sanson coming on was prep to get him in from the start v Arsenal and I'd also start Trez as he was lively coming on and he tends to do well v them. People need to calm down if someone like McGinn is on the bench v Arsenal, there are worse things happening currently in the world. Some of the derided squad players have done good jobs when called upon this season. Sure a few West Ham fans tonight weren't happy pre kick off them starting likes of Fredricks and Lingard v us but they both did superb and way we played tonight we need at least 3 changes to put in good performance v Arsenal as it was oh so flat. And will give us some better options on the bench aswell.
Villaphan04
Bring in Nakamba and Sanson for McGinn & Barkley. Also Trez for Ghazi
