Got away with murder with that offside, dunno what Smith was up to there but last week he blamed the lads for not taking their chances which is fair enough but this week would have been all on him, shambolic that we didn't make any changes. Should have cost us 3 points but for Danny ings sleeve

Fantastic defensive performance.

Cash great defensively, as were Konsa, Mings, and Targett.

We hit them on the break, and really, in that second half, didn't need to do anything but contain.

A big lesson learnt from the defeat at Burnley.

We all know VAR is a joke, we've been burned many a time, so it's nice to get one going our way.

For me Southampton deserved a draw at least.  We wasn’t at our best but Southampton didn’t create that much.

That’s our karma 3 point return for me.

We are most fortunate. Doesn't feel like a clean win at all. Decisions could and should have been better along the way. Oh well, 3 pts... right?

Still not convinced VAR isn't going to review the game and decide, "Actually................"

It went in our favour, but I **** despise the offside rule, and what IFAB are doing to this sport.

Give the benefit of the doubt to attackers, and stop stealing goals away from teams because a player's **** arse hairs are a fraction ahead of a microfibre of someone's sleeve. It's **** ridiculous.

With apologies to Southampton. Lucky and undeserved. VAR is a farce. Lack of subs is infuriating and nearly cost us. McGinn needs binning off. Not a template for success.

But we won. So that's massive.
