Things like wages and personal terms can be agreed in principle all day long with players/agents in advance before bids are even made or accepted (yes it happens), but once heiracy at clubs start playing silly buggers and moving goal posts with the offer(s) made by the buying club then it delays or even scuppers any deal that only days before seemed 'nailed on and ready to complete' and I think it's important to bare this in mind on any potential signing like this. It's no suprise to see Baumann at Werder also still trying to sell Rashica after pissing us around in the summer. There's a reason why the player never signed for Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and no suprise to learn they're not returning for him in January. Get the support base talking about this supposed low fee, rather than him.
