Jono62 Posted January 12, 2021 Share Posted January 12, 2021 Long time lurker of the site. Been a Villa fan since the days of David Platt (1988). Wow, makes me feel old! I live in London and haven't been able to go to Villa park as often as I like. I did manage to go the a few games in London; a 1-0 loss to QPR, but my best memory of going to a game was when we played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 1996 and beat them 2-1. Trains were cancelled and had to get a packed bus to the game, which meant I missed kick off. Got to my seat as soon as Chelsea scored, just my luck! Bozzie saved a pen as well and Savo had one of best games; scoring one and assisting Yorke. He was unplayable that day. Away from Villa, I enjoy cooking, reading and going for walks. Link to comment
