It’s clearly best for all concerned that this should be postponed. Not least for Mourinho who would avoid having to explain why his team lost to a bunch of teenagers :D

Seriously though, there’s no way in hell we should be trying to accommodate this game with so many first team players out.

Talk that we are working with the FA to see ifnthe game can go ahead, added to mourinho apparently saying he expects it to go ahead.

A) what a joke, it should be postponed.

B) why would we self sabotage like this!?!?!?!

It's what we do. Last year we said we were all for the league continuing rather than being voided when it looked nailed on that we would go down.

Why would you believe "talk" is true?

Mourinho saying again today that Spurs  shouldn’t be punished by having to play multiple games in a week and could refuse to play the game if it’s rescheduled

he can **** right off , if we have 9 players unavailable with Covid then the game is off , Simples

The bigger issue is that if the spurs game gets postponed then the everton, man city games would also be under threat at the players would still be isolating/sick. It's not possible to reschedule all three of those games.

Man. City would be fine unless half our players have been massively impacted on.

Jose Mourinho in "massive bellend" shock.

Premier League in "We don't care about Aston fuqqing Villa" surprise.

Aston Villa (most likely) in "Willing to self-sacrifice for the good of the game" horror.

Unfortunately I won't be the least bit shocked or surprised if the game goes ahead, though I will be moderately horrified at all parties for allowing it.

PR bullpoo. As for Mourhino well he has every right to complain however its tough cheese! FA have already set a precedent so unless there is some miracle recovery by the players it will have to be postponed.

Man city were allowed to call off the game against us and they have 5,000 more players in their first team squad than we do.

Pretty sure it will be called off, and many other games will be called off.

The way the virus is spreading more teams will be effected and there will be an extension to the season

Don’t see issue with scheduling games every 48 hrs to catch up, we had to play 2 games 48 hrs apart, just have that scheduled in to play catch up somehow.

it’s a unique season and exceptions have to be made, like Dean Smith said, never seen a player go off the pitch with exhaustion.

WTF is Jose on about “we’ll refuse to play if it’s rescheduled” putting pressure on the PL to make a decision 😂

They have one of the biggest squads in the league and we clearly have one of the smallest. Its not what anyone wants a postponement but this country is in a mess atm. You just got to rest your whole side against an 8th tier minnow, you got a bye in the league cup followed by games against all lower league opposition to get to the CC Final. Things are fine for them right now. They are our rivals for a European spot as things stand right now, no way should we be handing them 3 points. The PL can reschedule the game even if it is 2 games in 3 days. We just managed it over The xmas/NY period.

Mourinho’s comments about preparing his team and still expecting to play us on Wednesday are just him kicking off that’s it not been decided yet. I’m pretty sure it will be postponed, it should be announced already seeing as ten of our first team and the coaching staff will be isolating on Wednesday. There’s no way it can go ahead, we don’t have a team that’s registered to play in the PL. We can’t play the kids. So what’s the point in waiting until Wednesday to call it off, JFDI now!

Where has Mourinho said this?

EDIT: Just done a quick Google search and found some results from a couple of days ago.
