Not least for Mourinho who would avoid having to explain why his team lost to a bunch of teenagers Seriously though, there’s no way in hell we should be trying to accommodate this game with so many first team players out. Aston Villa (most likely) in "Willing to self-sacrifice for the good of the game" horror. Unfortunately I won't be the least bit shocked or surprised if the game goes ahead, though I will be moderately horrified at all parties for allowing it. Pretty sure it will be called off, and many other games will be called off. Its not what anyone wants a postponement but this country is in a mess atm. You just got to rest your whole side against an 8th tier minnow, you got a bye in the league cup followed by games against all lower league opposition to get to the CC Final. Things are fine for them right now. They are our rivals for a European spot as things stand right now, no way should we be handing them 3 points. I’m pretty sure it will be postponed, it should be announced already seeing as ten of our first team and the coaching staff will be isolating on Wednesday. There’s no way it can go ahead, we don’t have a team that’s registered to play in the PL. We can’t play the kids. So what’s the point in waiting until Wednesday to call it off, JFDI now!
