Bit weird that the team bosses are allowed to speak to the refs and try to influence them while they are reviewing this.

Imagine if Klopp and Guardiola were allowed to chat with the VAR guy during games. Then again Man U probably are.

It will be a racing incident. Both could have done more to avoid the contact...

... but if you had to rule against one of them, Hamilton would be the one. He was never in front and was wide of the apex.

Iota like VAR when Man United or Liverpool are involved. It’s gets a full, detailed review and all benefits of doubt applied.

When it’s Villa or lower you get what you’re given and like it.

I've calmed down 😂 It's still Lewis' responsibility to make the pass cleanly so he still caused the accident and it'll still be ultimately deemed a racing incident, but I think it is closer to actual racing incident than I initially thought.

They weren’t gonna give him much more really were they

It was so early in the race and there was nothing blatant about it so I think it's about right. Not great for redbull but at least will make the race interesting.

Looks like he won't have to punt Leclerc off anyway. Dodgy Italian reliability to the rescue.
