He was on for a podium last week as well if he didn't get hampered by a poor pit stop and then weather change right at the end. BOF Posted October 14, 2021 Author Moderator Share Posted October 14, 2021 Rumours now that Colton Herta may be one of the leading candidates for the Alfa Romeo seat with Andretti looking to take a controlling stake in Sauber. I'd love to see a top American racer come over and do well. Colton is probably the best fit from the current crop. Right age, right profile and has ability. It seems Zhou's demands for a 3 year deal have scuppered his chances, or are certainly making the powers that be pause for thought on him despite the cash that comes with him. It was being reported that Vasseur wanted to put Theo Pourchaire into the car for 2023. Then you've got Piastri being rightly brought into the conversation recently too.
