I am mis-remembering or is this massively revisionist from BBC?

History repeating itself (sort of)

17 December 2019: Liverpool have to put out an under-23 side in a cup tie against Aston Villa

8 January 2021: Aston Villa have to put out an under-23 side in a cup tie against Liverpool

Liverpool didn't have to put out an U23 side at all, they choose to?

Already sowing the seeds of "well its just the reverse of last year" when it isn't in terms of circumstance or player quality (It's not even our strongest youth side and we didn't play a first team against them).

The BBC admitted not knowing any of our youth players. Not even Louie Barry eh?! You'd think as actual journalists they'd do some research.
