This machine is getting oiled and finding its gears.

Slowly becoming one of my favourite Villa teams of the era.

Also...don't tell anyone, but we are 6th with a game in hand and covertly climbing up the League!

Could have given a few motm but went for Watkins. With 10 men he lead the superbly.  Did everything but score. 
 

Mings silly boy. He will know he nearly let the team down and apologise for it.

I think that was the most impressed I've been after watching Villa play since the 7-2 Liverpool win. I thought it was all over when we went to 10 men but we didn't miss a beat, we utterly demolished them.

Everyone was excellent, but Hause and Targett's improvement has been a joy to watch.

Mings needs to fight for his place when he's back, IMO. Konsa is Konsa, and Hause hasn't put a foot wrong.

This is another game that has shown an incredible improvement compared to last season, especially in game management. We struggled to break down 10 men last season on multiple occasions. Now we're able to completely dominate such a game. Today, with 10 men, we didn't sit back deep and absorb pressure, but pressed very high up the pitch and created even more chances. Well done Deano and everyone else.

Watkins MOTM, key to what we do, we attacked with so much pace it was incredible, Jack doing Jack things, pretty much everyone was superb apart from mings who no matter what you think about either yellow or how garbage the ref was you simply can't do that and someone at his supposed level knows that 

And the ref was garbage, no consistency and let them get away with far too much

Brilliant from Deano, we kept attacking and attacking long after the game was dead, rumour has it Watkins is still out there making runs through on goal

Watkins was phenomenal....an 11 out of 10 performance for him. Poor guy does everything but the gods don’t want him to have a goal over the last few games. Head doesn’t drop, he keeps going....love him!
