Their CEO Dong, basically their version of Purslow, has started turning up for their training sessions in a tracksuit, and already has a reputation for interfering, so whoever it is that they bring is going to have to be someone prepared to put up with that kind of thing...

Cook can do better, he's getting a good reputation for himself, Wigan have been one of the form teams in the division for a while now.

They were charged by the EFL at the back end of 2019, in relation to their stadium sale. They sold it to their owner and apparently included the profits in their accounts to try and get around FFP. The punishment/verdict hasn't been delivered yet though, but they're only ten points above relegation so a points deduction would put them in some bother.

Is there any risk we could be punished given we did the same?

Nigel Clough was linked the other week, probably the best fit for them in their present situation.

The best fit for these words removed is a winding up order.

0-1 to Charlton. 4 points above the drop but there’s only two games left, it seems unlikely that Hull or Luton will win two in a row. But there’s a chance...

Edit: Hull and Luton play each other next so as long as it’s not a draw, and Blues lose, that’s them 1 point from the drop going into the last game where they play Derby. Hull have Cardiff and Luton play Blackburn.

Even If they'd have lost tonight for them to be relegated they would have needed to lose both of their last two games and for one of Luton or Hull to win both of their last two games, and Huddersfield to win one of their remaining two games.

The draw doesn't actually change things a great deal, the same set of results would see them relegated but now Charlton would also have to win one of their two remaining fixtures as well.

The completely irrelevant shit that won't flush in the championship is a good place for them to stay for the foreseeable, the apathy must be strong in their fan base, they can post as many pictures of their fans enjoying the Fulham away boat trip as they like, the home attendances will suffer, the money will suffer and they just sit there for years doing nothing

Going down winning some games might bring a bit of a buzz back, let them stay where they are, lifeless and utterly pointless club

Perfect scenario unless we go down
