Just been told Robbie Fowler is the new manager... Can't stop laughing, it hurts.

Would make sense. He was a name in the 90s which their owners seem to have an absolute stonk on for.

Gardner took temporary charge which is good, the bloke is a serial winner..

Just looked at their results and they haven't won in the league in twelve games now, in all competitions they haven't won in fourteen games. They now have the inexperienced duo of Steve Spooner and Craig Gardner managing them and If they lose to Charlton in the week they could be in trouble as their last two are against Preston and Derby, both still in with a chance of the play-offs. What will probably save them is how poor those around them are, and possible points deductions for Wigan and Wednesday.

They will be fine. They have too many teams between them that need to win games.

Hogan probably did enough to save them, but his form has now dropped enough that we mght still find it difficult to sell him, if he'd have carried on his form we might have been able to get a decent fee. If they still want him I'd be tempted to offer him in exchange for Sunjic.

Its blose lets rip them off or try to. Id never sell him to them for that cheap. Rather keep him. What we gonna do with 2m and then help those losers?

Seemed to be playing a fair few youth players today.

They could well go if they lose their last 3 but think they'll worm their way out on the final day yet again.

Their usual dogshit form will be saved (this season) by Wigan's 12 point deduction and/or a 9 point penalty for sheff wed.

...and they call US jammy 🙄

They'll always produce a run of ten losses or something in a row because they are absolutely shit. Sadly they skank enough wins usually before Christmas to see them collapse over the line by a fraction. How they haven't had another deduction I don't know

Teams at the bottom are winning, so they might still be in danger. Imagine them surviving because of a point deduction though, that would be typical! Could do with Wigan going 12 clear of the relegation zone, but they're playing Hull in 22nd tonight...

What's the deal with Sheff Weds?

They were charged by the EFL at the back end of 2019, in relation to their stadium sale. They sold it to their owner and apparently included the profits in their accounts to try and get around FFP. The punishment/verdict hasn't been delivered yet though, but they're only ten points above relegation so a points deduction would put them in some bother.

Well Wigan are certainly showing that they deserve to be in this league ahead of Hull, if not Birmingham.

Only half-time a lot can happen in the second half
