AVFC-Prideofbrum
Almost impossible unless the expand their ground. Even our poor attendances, if it's say around 30,000 will be 5,000+ more than what they have ever have.
coda
They can't even sell out against us. They moan about prices but a small heath I know got two adult and two child tickets all for £50 the last time we won at the sty.
brommy
even though we had our lowest attendence in god knows how long it was double what they had at the sty Honestly, I fear the day when the Sty might overtake us in attendances. So you use a statement that the sty had half the attendance of Villa Park for a similar match, as a reason to fear that they might overtake our attendances? :? TrentVilla Posted September 25, 2010 Moderator Share Posted September 25, 2010 I would be confident in saying they have never had a higher average attendance over the course of a season.
Mantis
Anyone see all those empty seats (my lord) at the sty on MOTD? Oh, and Gardner's face when he got sent off was priceless.
RunRickyRun
I would be confident in saying they have never had a higher average attendance over the course of a season. '72/73-'74/75 They had a higher attendance but we were a division lower than them at the time. Since 1951 they've averaged over 30k only six times. The_Lions_Roar
The thing is they are unbeaten at home for over a year and still can't sell out! I knows its shit football but still getting the results.
carlitobrigante
its quite lucky for us that their pathetic fanbase and stadium will always hold them back, as Mcleish is a damn good manager and has turned them into a solid side that i cant see getting relegated this season or anytime soon...unfortunately. Losing Mcfadden is a blow for them, but they do have some good defenders (ridgewell excepted), Hleb is also a very very good player.

Rino8 Posted September 26, 2010 Visiting Supporter Share Posted September 26, 2010 Were we the last team to beat them at home? It was around this time last year when Gabby scored that header in the last 5 minutes wasn't it?
The_Rev
Nah. Bolton were the last team to win at the temple of doom. It was also Pornodwarf and Werewolf's last game as owners.
