I see they've signed a lad called Juan Familio-Castillo on loan from Chelsea's youth set-up. A new name on me.

As long as Gards knows everything about him............

She's supping wine near in a piazza near the Spanish Steps but longs for the 'propa brum' pubs of Digbeth.

Still counts as town, or cittadina as the locals say !

Paul will be in charge of the U23s coming into the first team. The reason why is we have a lot of players coming through the U23s to the first team.

That’s it. He said that.

Is he effectively in the same role at Blues as Lange is at Villa?

"Managers come and go, staff come and go, but I'm here to stay". Sounds like a warning rather than a symbol of hope.

To be fair to him as grand as a job title including the word "Director" may sound, his role is hardly that of an intellectual. He needs to know how to get the board excited about a target, how to find out about that player and how to get the player to sign, all of which his recent football experience should make possible even to a div like Craig!

Looking at the business they've done so far this summer they look to have made improvements and some cohesion within their purchases.

What, you mean they've signed players?

I thought they'd got no money?

Their most promising signings are loans, it seems. That's a dangerous strategy if you're planning on getting promoted to the PL.

Says us who got promoted with half our team being loans!

Not trying to defend sha, but ye.....

But a good strategy to not get relegated to League 1!
