well they dont have money to spend. Otherwise wouldnt have an embargo

Seems you don’t understand ffp. An owner could have billions to spend but you can’t spend more than clubs incoming revenue. You need to have massive club revenue to spend big amounts (e.g Man Utd, Man City, Real Madrid etc)

With the squad they have a transfer embargo is really bad news for them. The window also shuts 3 weeks earlier this season, after how much they've loved our situation it would be absolutely fantastic if this f*cks them.

Yes, agreed...

...but we've got to sell players and can't buy anyone.  Surely our situation is worse?

Amusing battle to the bottom for both clubs, anyway ?

Oh yeah I'd agree our situation is worse because we've actually no idea how bad ours could be but our team without any signings is a lot better than there's if they don't sign any. I don't think we will be to far of play offs with our current side and if 3 or 4 of our youth players can have a good season then we will make a good go at that top 6. Birmingham on the other hand have about 2 decent players rest are woeful.

So a (unconfirmed) transfer embargo is worse than having to sell all you’re best players to just keep the club afloat? ok.

if the club and the efl are aware of it then its not unconfirmed. Sounds like they had time to amend it and didnt

Ok let’s say it’s confirmed. Still don’t see how our situation is better, we are having to sell our best players just to keep afloat.

Jack couldn't go anywhere if we had a transfer embargo. Even if he wanted to. Let's do it. ?

Might be wrong but I don't think transfer embargo s work like that, when clubs sign players the buying club agrees (usually,) to structured payments, £3million upfront and ,£2million spread over 2 years as an example, if the buying club fails to pay up the structure payments they will get a period of grace to pay up then if they do t a transfer embargo, doesn't mean they can't sell players, but any money from that player sale will first go to the club who is owed money.

When all liabilities are met, the embargo will be lifted AFAIK

Can’t believe how many people don’t know how ffp, ownership or embargo’s work, you can sell but not buy with an embargo until it’s lifted.
