4 defeats in 5. stop bleating about VAR. if we didn't defend like clearings in the woods and actually took our chances it would be a non-event. Only ourselves to blame.

Altohugh VAR can still **** off.

pretty ball possession means **** all.

Jack will be fed up by January having potatos for team mates

Yes we should've converted our chances and we only have ourselves to blame for that, but the simple fact is that VAR are essentially rigging a sizable portion of games. At the end of the day it doesn't matter who benefits or who doesn't, it's totally wrong and morally unjustifiable.

Was not our night.

Trez missed a sitter. Watkins miss a penalty and VAR rules one out.

Sure we've said that 3 times this season already?

Anyways not that anybody gives a toss but I'm out. VAR can't keep ruining the game for me, and me to just accept it. Doubt I'll be back.

if we don't take chances i don't understand how we can be characterised as playing well, as our forward players clearly aren't playing well. they arent doing their jobs.

14 shots and two on target, that’s really poor.

Not sure why Smith is taking any flak for this. We have absolutely battered them both halves, missed a pen, had goal disallowed, etc.

There is an issue with set pieces that needs looking at.

Not our night, but we looked much the better side, even with Barkley missing.

If tonight was a one off yes - but weve been letting in daft goals for a few games now -

2 games in a row waiting on a VAR call to rescue a point. We should not be putting ourselves in these positions. The defending was god awful for both goals, but we had more than enough chances to put this away and yet again we shoot ourselves in the foot.

However, being denied a point because our sleeves are longer is a bit of a sickener....

That was all about inexperience, from start to finish.

The positives of the youthful energy were the relentless performances of Liverpool and Arsenal. But tonight was the other side of the naivety.

You also notice that when we're crap and we lose we feel hard done by by VAR. It's amazing the luck you seem to get when you're playing well.

You have to laugh at the irony of all of these refs starring at that still frame, and not giving a foul when it's far more of one than the penalty they actually gave.

It's an absolute farce

VAR isn't the problem, it's the donuts that are in control of it. They spend 5mins trying to figure out which part of the arm to draw a line from but don't give a clear foul.

Its not even if West ham have mugged us there....they didnt play well enough to do that!

We are our own worst enemy; To concede a goal in the first few minutes is terrible, to do it again in the second half needs looking at!

Grealish and Doug were brilliant tonight, head and shoulders the best on the pitch. 9 times out of 10 that is enough to win a game, however we need our support players to do their bit. Unfortunately tonight a few fluffed their lines.

Really unlucky to lose that, even still!

Wakins is clearly being pushed into an offside position yet no penalty check.

VAR is not being used correctly at all.

yeah he's obviously not running hunchbacky like he's **** Dracula, but LO AND BEHOLD the random number generator disguised as a decision making organ cannot see that and decide that a bloody elbow is a danger to the overall play as if people don't swing their arms when running. ABSOLUTE MUPPETS!!!!!!
