Pissed off how we didn’t win that, Var again proves what a shambles it is when they have to draw 3 lines on and zoom in to give offside due to his arm is a joke

Dont want to see hourihane start for us again again it’s like playing with 10men, Trezeguet’s finishing is awful yet again

Me in the pre-match thread:

"I half don't even see the point in watching. There's a 1 in 3 chance VAR will completely dominate the game as it does in many other games. Whatever they say goes. "

And lo and behold look what happens. Why even watch games anymore?

Although as an aside, I really am **** fed up of us dominating games and having a dozen chances but still losing because we can only convert a fraction of them while the opposition score basically every chance they get.

Our luck will surely turn, but by Zeus this is frustrating. We cannot miss chances like Trez' and Watkins' penalty. Also VAR is like a bloody cancer to this sport. I **** hate it with a passion.

Just now, The_Steve said:

Wakins is clearly being pushed into an offside position yet no penalty check.

VAR is not being used correctly at all.

You have to laugh at the irony of all of these refs starring at that still frame, and not giving a foul when it's far more of one than the penalty they actually gave.

It's an absolute farce

We were poor at times, conceded 2 awful goals

And yet at other times dominated the game and created enough chances to win

No luck, no overreaction, like I said in the match thread I think this is what we are, the hallmarks of a mid table PL team, no consistency

The squad options are wank to be fair to Deano, tonight showed again why Hourihane doesn't get a sniff
