KenjiOgiwara
I've had sonos in my apartments since 2013. Generally a fan. Right now I'm having different generations of S1 and a PLAY: 5 in my new apartment. I was considering upgrading my PLAY: 5 Generation 1, to either a new PLAY: 5 (gen. 3 I think) or just another S1. Anyone tried the newest PLAY 5? Is it worth paying £ 400 extra for compared to S1?
mykeyb
Not had a Play 5 but have some Ones, a Three, a sound bar and sub. We sold the 3 and a One and just kept the home cinema set up. Then they did the older models not being supported which was a massive downer. I did look at upgrading the sound bar so we could get Atmos but it appears that the Ones aren't compatible and neither is the sub so the whole lot needs replacing and I guess that's where Sonos and I part the ways. KenjiOgiwara
Think they went back on that. All my old sonos work at least. But you need the right app
