Just came n this forum after watching the 1st half so don’t know what the general vibe is but for me, McGinn is awful today.

otherwise how haven’t we scored.  This game could easily be 3-2 now with the chances for both sides.

On a different day this game is 4-2 or 4-3 Villa.

We are much the better side but Konsa and Mings have been sleepy far too often. Too casual with such a high line. Brighton are happy to stick 8 or 9 bodies and break from the wings.

Frustrating that for a player with such a terrible first touch, we let Welbeck score, and almost again.

Not quite good enough. We've been the better side and we're lucky not to be two down.

Brighton with the consummate away performance - ride your luck, wait for a mistake and capitalise - we're making too many mistakes.

That said, we could have scored three, we're very unlucky not to have scored any and it would be no surprise if these teams had gone in at 3-3.

We need to turn chances into goals and the way we're defending, we might need four for a win.

Mcginn seems really off.

He has games like this in him. It's very frustrating. I'd honestly consider bringing on Hourihane, we're not losing much in sacrificing John here, and Conor gives us a set piece threat.

lost last two home games, going to lose a 3rd in a row.  midfield and defence are shite. We may score a couple but Brighton are scoring another

Jeez why so negative?? We’ve been playing pretty well. Midfield is doing well other than McGinn

Was always going to be a bit of a weird game with the amount of football some of our players have played in the internationals.

And of course Barkley goes off with a muscular injury despite playing none!

Unlucky not to have scored but they’ve also created since going behind, Lamptey was getting far too much space but looks like Smith has changed the shape to prevent that now though.

McGinn needs a rest he’s largely been awful. Well score but they could well hit us on the break also.
