We need Graeme Souness' views on the latin temperament.

Bizarre how with a VAR ref and the on field ref they some how managed to gift United a penalty for a rashford dive.

Looked a clear penalty to me. Rashford didn’t really have it under control but the defender just planted his studs on his shin.

I know it’s United so we’re supposed to say it’s biased but that is a stonewall penalty for me.

It should have been a red card, regardless of gender.

Quote

Physical contact with match officials

A yellow card for physical contact with any match official in a non-aggressive manner (e.g. an inquisitive approach to grab the official’s attention).

A red card for physical contact with match officials in an aggressive or confrontational manner.

yellow then as it was non aggressive

I would argue for a red, he grabbed her by the neck, moments after screaming in her face, and her reaction made it very clear she didn't interpret it in a positive way.

A minimum of a yellow though, so I'm very disappointed to see it go unpunished.
