Lots of really sloppy passes and slow/frustrating play that needs to be stamped out. Guys may have been a little tired from the international break but my word that GORGEOUS strike from Barkley. Once again, we didn’t get away with a win. We rivaled Leicester today. Brilliant.

It won’t be long surely before one of them gets him a cap, he’s a potential international.

Two biggest improvements for me this season are Konsa and Trez. Shaky moments but tireless workrates and composure. Really cementing themselves in the first X1 which is wonderful. A testament to their abilities, motivations, and the coaching and management.

A fine performance, I felt we deserved the result over the 90. We definitely created the better chances. Obviously it helped that Vardy was out, and they didn't pose a threat behind the back 4, but nevertheless Iheanacho has a great record against us and is still a useful player.

Seen a lot of people praising certain players (correctly), so just to add to some of the players who might not get so many shoutouts - Targett was much better defensively today, really kept them quiet down that side. Mings seemed very accurate with his long-range passes. McGinn and Trezeguet super hard work performances.

Barkley adds a new dimension, and we really look a threat across the pitch. We have absolutely no squad depth, so we are going to need freakish amounts of good luck with injuries and suspensions, but if we get it we could go far this season.

Now we’ve got the points behind us we can be solid in games like today and wait for something to happen. Can’t wait for the Leeds game on Friday should be a cracker and very winnable.

Defensively we are taking zero risks this season, and coupled with Martinez we look solid. We defend as a unit, and despite playing further forward always had men between the opposition attack and the goal. We rarely play out through our defensive third now which is clearly helping, and despite surrendering possession to cleared balls and clearing our defensive third, it’s working. Last year it was our downfall. 

Our back four all looked terrific and very disciplined and drilled in their role. This is going to make a massive difference this season, clean sheets will make such a difference in our league position.

Grealish MOTM for me. Created a lot, but definitely has to shoot more. 
 

We were such a solid unit tonight. Traore was actually impressive when he came on today.

He was letting a lot play on that would usually be a foul (including one in the build up to our goal).

I think he was fair for both sides but letting so much go meant Grealish getting kicked a lot.

I would have taken a point beforehand, over the moon with 3. More important result than the 7-2 against the champions. 

Grealish needs to shoot more as frustrating when he doesn't. The defence actually looks like a defence now, Watkins had a quiet one but he aint gonna score every game...

5 points ahead of City after 4 games makes for good reading.

That may have been Trez's best ever game for us , his effort was just what the team needed .. shame about the air kick on the half way line in the second half that made him look like a drunk playing football with a tennis ball , but I was pleased for him tonight , he played a big part in that win.

Jack was sublime at times , but clearly trying too hard to grab a headline goal to show to Southgate what a clueless clearing in the woods he is  ,fear not Jack everyone knows,  so just relax and get back to being yourself .

SJM , Doug and Barkley doing the business again , i gave my MOTM vote to Doug , thought he was everywhere and did to them what Mendy did to us last season , but it could have easily gone to Konsa or SJM

 

7 more wins should see us well and truly safe , on current form we might have them by mid December
