rayk Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) The first 6 players on the team sheet are barely even Champs level really, with exception of Guilbert. There is a massive disconnect now between our match day squad without injuries and the rest of our senior squad. The club must be aware of this. A huge amount of effort has gone into strengthening our academy and making sure our U23s are really our U19s. But that strengthening will take 2-3 years before it positively helps the first team so over the next 12-18 months we’re going to need sign another 6 players, more if players like Hause, Guilbert and El Ghazi leave.
