Popular Post Thug
For all the ‘pundits’ who keep saying Grealish needs to move to a ‘bigger’ club to show what he’s capable of... this is exactly the reason why that is utter nonsense. What a player needs is a club that understands their role, and can provide the opportunities to flourish. The sooner young players realise this and stop signing for a club where they will be stifled, or shoe-horned into a role that doesn’t fully suit, the sooner we can have a more competitive league, and stop wasting talents in the reserves of some ‘big’ club.

birdman
Ross has really filled a gaping void that we had last season. When all else fails somone who will just run at the opposition and lash the ball in!

Woody1000
Aston Villa might not thank me, but get the contract out, put it on the table, let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there -- given what he's done since he's come in -- and let him sign the contract and go

Sulberto21
I hope he gets around 8-10 goals this season. He has the ability to do that.
QldVilla Posted October 19, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted October 19, 2020 Have to give credit to the lad, thought he was quiet during the game, but that bit of quality and courage made up for it. Plus to hear he was 50-50 in playing just adds to the performance.

Not seen it but it stands to reason, he must be absolutely buzzing at Villa. Playing alongside one of his best mates, starting every game and a key player, winning games, scoring goals. Couldn't be any better for him. If he keeps this up old Beaky will need to look at him as well. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ross-barkley-sums-up-loan-19126282 Ba da ba ba baaaa.... “I’m loving it. It’s regular game-time, which is just what I needed,” Barkley gushed. “The manager has given me the platform to perform, and I’m excited for every game that’s coming.
