If we beat Bristol City, then this game would be played in the 4 days between those two games. I doubt we would have many first team starters playing in this one. Unless both we lose to Bristol City and Liverpool lose to Lincoln in the 3rd round then our PL match vs Liverpool will be moved to Sunday if not more likely Monday again. It will probably get moved anyway in anticipation of both teams not going out before the 4th round. Introduced in 1955 as the European Champion Clubs' Cup, commonly known as the European Cup, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open only to the champions of Europe's domestic leagues, with its winner reckoned as the European club champion. Kingman
So saying a Top 6 club wins the FA Cup and League Cup dose this now mean the losing finalists go into this new cup winners cup thingymybob as Top six will be going chumps and uefa. Surely can't have teams finishing 7th and 8th going in with cup winners?

So does that also mean that teams that get knocked out of the stages of the Europa league.. would they now fall down into this New competition at the lockout stages? No matter to us in any case, as our name is on one of the cups this season.
