Bit worried about him, has some real lovely dribbles but not as effective or create chances for others that his talent deserves.  A bit soft in 50/50 balls as well.

Need more from him than a highlights clip because he has obviously showed us in patches this season.

Had some good goals, just need more creation from him from that right side especially when Jack is out.

Im still not convinced by him. He produced one moment of brilliance but we need far more consistency from him if hes the player that can take us to the next level.

There will always be elements of his game that frustrate but I'm a sucker for a player with a lovely first touch and he certainly has it.

Was in and out tonight but as said very close to scoring from excellent close control.

As said before his assists and goals output is pretty good considering he only became a regular started from mid December.

Do wish he'd hit a better free kick and corner though. That's certainly one thing Hourihane has over the midfielders we have playing.

He plays on the right though.

That’s what I mean. When he went off our only attacking option was aimless crosses from Targett or McGinn from our left side. Would have been good to have kept some more balance and threat from the right.

He's the type of player you want coming off the bench to change a game. That's the role he'd have at Leicester or Everton or spurs. If we want to get competitive for europe he would be a squad player.

When elmo is playing it is once again traore trying to beat 3 men. It is somewhat similar with cash but at least he occasionally overlaps.

He does **** all off the bench. I'm pretty sure he didn't score a single goal in 22 sub appearances for Lyon.

Definitely not the problem. He will lose the ball, make bad decisions, but we didn't expect that we were signing Ronaldo or Messi. He's improved our first XI and after Jack is about the only player in the side that can make things happen on his own.

Nearly scored the best Villa goal in decades, for a player people criticise easily i thnk thats ok 🙄

Thats what is so frustrating about him. Hes capable of brilliance but its always just one or two moments in a game and the rest of time hes poor. All this talk about Barkley being the problem but since Traore has been a regular in the team results have declined and thats not just down to him, the form of a lot of players has dipped.

The results improved once barkley was initially dropped. Then we brought barkley back and then grealish got injured.
