Seems to be a legitimately nice person, fantastic goalkeeper, has fought tooth and nail to be able to be number one for both club and country and I really feel that (after all of the years that he spent on the bench, seeing millions of pounds being thrown at different players to do his job when he knew he could do it himself) he really appreciates the opportunity our great club has given him and loves it with us… Yeah, he dropped a clanger today, but that’s literally the first time since we signed him that, personally, I’ve been able to say that… Ive been supporting Villa since the mid 90s when Bosnich was THE MAN…. He made some incredible stops after that which kept us in the game. **** his mistake. He’s allowed a couple. He’s given us countless points. I’d even go as far as to say we are only a PL team because of his saves and we’d otherwise be in the championship and he’d be winning leagues. I also think he would have been touched by the fact we started singing his name seconds after the mistake. He seems like a very emotional character and I think that would have meant a lot to him. We couldn’t dream of having a better keeper and a better personality in our ranks. Got lucky with this one, thankfully.
