AV82
I did think after he went down the true test will be when he strikes the ball. Get him off.
DCJonah
Thats not a good sign. I'll be amazed if we see him in the first team this season.
OutByEaster? Posted April 2, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 2, 2021 Chukwuemeka and JPB have been passengers, Raikhy's passing has been poor and Sohna's decision making has been awful Revan has his hands full but has done okay, Kesler looks very sharp, Steer has been excellent. We just aren't getting it right with the ball, we look too keen to show how good we are and not keen enough to do the simple things that win you games. Bugger - looks like Wes is done for the day - doesn't look great for the boy.
OutByEaster? Posted April 2, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 2, 2021 Wes is sitting on the bench rather than having gone back into the dressing room - that's a good sign I think.
lexicon
He walked off @OutByEaster?, so it can't be that bad - all parto of the process hopefully.
OutByEaster? Posted April 2, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 2, 2021 From the moment Kesler started the run from his own area for our goal to the time it hit the back of the net has been measured at just 12 parsecs.
MaVilla
i know Wes isnt fit etc, but its so clear just how much he lacks general mobility compared to all the other midfielders/forwards buzzing around. I know the other players seem to lack some general composure at times, but their mobility is very clear and it made Wesley look very immobile/static (even if you take in to account his recovery).

AV82
Barry really is special.
VillaAlex
I always find the youth players are so keen for all the fancy tricks and flicks. Sometimes they are way off like Barry was when in on goal, yet seconds later it worked beautifully to play Chuk through for the penalty. I guess that's a key part of development though, knowing when and when not to do it. Edited April 2, 2021 by VillaAlex

DCJonah
That Chukwuemeka does a few things that make you think, why doesn't he just do that everytime he gets the ball. It looks like he just decides every so often to be the best player on the pitch.
