NewportStu
So angry with him. What was he thinking? Cost us any chance of getting back into the game. I know he's young and still learning at this level but he is such a liability at times.
StefanAVFC
He never came across as the sharpest but **** me; actual shit for brains.

It was a stupid mistake but things like that happen - as you said, I'm sure he'll learn from it.

VillaChris
Lost for words aswell. He had a nibble at Foden and then completely wiped him out. No excuse that he forgot he was on a yellow given it happened two minutes earlier. He does have that lunge tendency in his game, can remember him doing similar a few weeks back v Spurs when he was on a yellow but didn't connect. Not the worst game for AEM to come back into as West Brom will be more physical and long ball opposition and he does fine v those.
birdman
Proper brain fade from Matty. Tackle was out of pure frustration as Foden was running rings. Won't hold it against him though and quite honestly his absence isn't going to make a whole lot of difference now. Im almost done with this season.... until West Brom that is lol
villanmac
Hes always on the edge, a bit last ditch and has the rush of blood that leads to dropping a bollock. The spurs pen the other week and the stupid handball against Southampton spring to mind. It is what is though, rough round the edge but he puts it all on the line tbf to him Edited April 21, 2021 by villanmac

Hes a good player - but the pressure seems to get to him at times
Taxahunter Posted April 21, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted April 21, 2021 It’s good that Cash stays on his feet and doesn’t make rash challenges, compared to Guilbert

Cash is arguably more of a risk than Guilbert. Cash's best is definitely better, as is his crossing, but his worst seems to be a fair bit worse as well. He's young and learning, and we've got to expect these kind of mistakes from him while he learns. Save some money, keep Fred, rotate them next season so Cash isn't guaranteed a spot every week, and his development will benefit from it, as will we.
