Wouldn't he be in direct competition for Grealish? What's the point?

Never understand this opinion when he plays in the same position as Benrahma. I'd assume the idea, exactly the same as if we got Benrahma, would be to play Grealish at behind the strikers.

Potential champions league football, world class manager and some players who could be world class within 1 to 2 years (Adama and Jimenez), yep... it's all hype :D

We already have 1 player who is world class and better than both you mentioned and another 2  (McGinn/Luiz) who could be exceptional players.

The idea we will survive the PL with 3 man CAM line and a 2 man midfield, it's absurd. We'd be slaughtered.

Sorry I meant play him where we have payed him in that 3 man midfield all of last championship year and all of last year up until realising our wingers are hopeless. I'm inclined to agree with you and think he does play better out wide. Cannot be going in for a left winger then, Benrahma is not a RW and we need to stop signing players to move them onto their less natural side. Buendia seems to make much more sense in that case

and big clubs will abuse the ambiguity in that.  What ambiguity you say? The lawyers and accountants will find the ambiguity and as usual get away with it.

The PL and FFP rules are designed with loopholes to keep the rich richer and the large in charge. It's like that camp guy on the TV in the 80s who kept saying "chase me". He wasn't serious about getting away.

If Grealish does well in a 3 man central midfield role with McGinn and Luiz, by all means play him there. I think however it's weird to remove him from his roaming left wing role when he;

1) was one of the league's best players there

2) Didn't impress in the central midfield role

3) our midfield is weak as piss. McGinn, Jack and Luiz is way to soft for my liking. We need more steel in there.

Really not a fan of speculation threads without solid link.

Watkins the only acceptable one IMO as Percy brought him up.

this, unless there's a solid reason to to suggest this has anything in it, this is as pointless as benrahmas

So now we have two threads about players that don't have a solid link...….this takes away the fun of seeing a new name linked, soon clicking speculation threads on VT will become as pointless as clicking on a Birmingham live link.

Have you been on football forums? Most transfer links are utter bullshite, but its part of the fun.  I don't think there many people actually ITK. Football operations are so slick now the chances of finding out until a deal has happened is fairly low most of the time.

It's not incorrect though is it. It's based on your opinion.

It comes from someone that has told me who I have no reason to doubt.

Without going too off topic, this is probably more for the Grealish thread.

That's why there is a General Transfer speculation thread to be fair

Oh, we’re not signing General Transfer as well are we? He’s useless and has only done it in a farmers league

Generals have never done any good for us, particularly during the Lerner regime.

I agree with most of that. I do think he plays better in our team out wide. Although I think he has the work rate & tackling ability to play in that Hourihane role and could be just as good there. Preferably though I'd be getting a CM to replace Hourihane, but has to be a set piece specialist as Hourihane is realistically the only set piece taker we have. I would also want Villa to get away from relying on Grealish, as we are currently 1 injury/him leaving away from relegation.

Yeah so like I said, it's evidence we're not aware of.

Or more likely it's made up ITK nonsense but I guess we'll find out in a month or two :)
