If he wants to stay in Germany, waiting in Germany for 3 months to continue to do so is not a major issue. Could still leave whether that is to us or to someone else now that he can't get a move to somewhere else in Germany. And you don't think leverkusen have discussed this with the club and the players? He won't be in a relegation battle, he's leaving in January.
