They have some similarities in that they both score goals and both are/were high energy players. Fingers crossed.
The Fun Factory
Welcome Ollie. I think it will be a good signing. Yes we have paid a lot but overall I think this will be a good investment. It seemed the clear number 1 target and ticks a lot of the NWSE philosophy of buying young players on the way up. He knows Smith, he knows O'Kelly, so I hope he settles in quickly and improves the team.

The_Steve
Welcome Ollie! Promising stats, an engine and an eye for goal! We created so many chances last year so it’s exciting to have a player who can score with both feet and their head. A great attitude to boot. Fee is irrelevant but shows our muscle and intent.
fightoffyour Posted September 9, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted September 9, 2020 If the club honestly believe that just making a record signing will gloss over the truly embarrassing U18 result against a meme club last night then they are seriously deluded. What a shambles. #LangeOut Welcome Ollie! Very excited about this.

AVFCforever1991
Sounds very calm and levelheaded, which is what you need in front of goal, I reckon he's going to have no problem with stepping up a level.

Its the biggest payday exeter have ever had. They have sold players to top teams previously such as vinnicombe to rangers some 15 years plus ago for 250k or what ever it was, ampadu to Chelsea, but nothing quite like this. It will keep exeter solvent for 2 years on its own. The training ground can be updated and improved upon bearing in mind the amount of use from all the junior exeter teams also use it and it can also get better security to stop the travellers from trying to invade it each year as they do to the pub car park over the road. With no other funding as no crowds, sponsorship down to minimal and shirt/ club souvenir sales not huge, it keeps them healthy. 9
