I'm not surprised now as it's been known for a while, but was surprised when first hearing about Harrison Sohna being released, he was a regular for the U18s in the 2019/2020 season, has played for England at youth level, and is still only eighteen.

According to the official list submitted to the premier league, Young and Raikhy are both currently scholars, but have contract offers, which given their age will presumably be their first professional deals, same for Lindley and Sylla.

is it me? or do we seem to have a fetish for playmakers?

There seems to be more links with playmakers than any other posistions?

when is the next Gary Cahill or Gareth Barry due?

Surely you're a Sil Swinkels fan @TRO?

He was amongst the youngest of the Youth hCup winning team and he's a big old unit at the back already.

The centre back were the youngest players in the side.

I thought he has a bit to learn, but he has some good bits too.

Is there anyone released that people were expecting we’d keep?
im surprised at Wright staying didn’t think he’d done that much on loan

I think it was always likely he got one more year to prove himself, as long as he wants it. It also can't have hurt that he's just been looking decent for Ireland U23s in the last couple of weeks, although the decision was probably taken long before that.

Not really for me, it all seems like those released I were expecting pretty much.

He's posted a picture of The Belfry on his instagram stories, so looks like something might be happening, Swinkels I think it was, and one of the others did the the same just before they signed last summer.

If you look again it’s not The Belfry. It’s Julie B’s garden before he’s placed in the basement.

However……………

Louie Moulden who played a few trial matches with us last season has signed for Wolves. Not sure why we had him on trial but always seemed unlikely that we'd sign him on a permanent, with Sinisalo, Onódi, Marschal, Zych, and Lewis already in the academy and possiby others coming through as well.

Will be interesting to see the 2021 intakes, Sam Lewis, Harvey Rhoades, Luke Softley, Kyrie Pierre, Kobei Moore, Charlie Lutz have all been reported to have been offered or given scholarships, and presumably the likes of Jaden Barber, Travis Patterson, Mikell Barnes, Ilani Edwards, Kadan Young, and there will probably be others from the U16s as well, as well as some brought in from outside the club.
