It also can't have hurt that he's just been looking decent for Ireland U23s in the last couple of weeks, although the decision was probably taken long before that. Not sure why we had him on trial but always seemed unlikely that we'd sign him on a permanent, with Sinisalo, Onódi, Marschal, Zych, and Lewis already in the academy and possiby others coming through as well. Will be interesting to see the 2021 intakes, Sam Lewis, Harvey Rhoades, Luke Softley, Kyrie Pierre, Kobei Moore, Charlie Lutz have all been reported to have been offered or given scholarships, and presumably the likes of Jaden Barber, Travis Patterson, Mikell Barnes, Ilani Edwards, Kadan Young, and there will probably be others from the U16s as well, as well as some brought in from outside the club.
