Derby had to pay out £2m to Keogh for breach of contract

And proper order the way they treated him. If it contributes towards their relegation then that will be brilliant.

oops....

Derby could still be RELEGATED from Championship this season as EFL say they will work to impose points deduction 'as soon as reasonably possible' after winning appeal to find club did breach Financial Fair Play rules

If Derby are deducted points and relegated it will mean Wycombe will have won promotion from league one despite not finishing the top six and then survived in the championship despite finishing in the bottom three.

As well as a points deduction for breaching FFP, there's also talk that they could go into administration if their sale doesn't go through, which would result in another points reduction, so seems like they're in a lot of trouble next season whether in the championship or league one.

He dosesn't seem like he'd make the best of owners, has links to some far right group in Spain, worked as an advisor to Sheffield Wednesday and small heath, claimed to have the backing of someone who later denied even knowing him, has links to Matt Southall, question marks over whether he even has the money to complete the takeover in the first place, which is what lead to him posting the above picture, and he's since deleted his twitter claiming it was hacked.

EFL needs to be broken up. What a farce. Rick Parry needs to go.

Always surprised me that they sacked him, despite him not driving, and didn't sack the other two, despite them leaving hm there unconscious.

They were younger and had some re-sale value. I think Keogh was 32

Yeah, plus he had a 12 month injury as well.

Serves Derby right for being rocket polishers.

I've seen a suggestion that if Derby have a points deduction and it's applied next season, then Sheffield Wednesday could complain that their points deduction should have been applied next season as well, because their offences were committed at the same time as Derby's.

All this talk of points deductions guys... come on... Those days are over. It punishes the fans... and we can't have that. The ESL snakes have gotten away with it, so Derby should too. As much as it irks because rules and regulations have been broken. But we've now got to the 'won't somebody please look after the mental health of fans' stage. No more points deductions.

Yeah, some of this is whataboutery and borderline trolling. But the precedents are now there. You can't really punish a football club going forward, for fear of upsetting the fans and the media circus that surrounds the protests (riots if you're from Manchester Red Zone).
