Given we had no other fit centre backs, Samatta not fully fit, or a match fit McGinn we still dominated Sheffield United in crucial areas of the pitch. Hause was poor and Grealish took time to show his many qualities. Nyland suspect as ever on crosses. I'm not going to entertain the stupidity of saying we should have let them score.

I'd have taken a point before the game in truth.

Davis got himself in the right areas, everyone is not 100% and we should temper our expectations a little. The likes of El Ghazi were anonymous despite some good link up play and runs that should have resulted in penalties.

Henderson made some good saves for United.

I'd take that result again. We should have won absolutely, but this team is good enough to stay up. I'm convinced. They just need to turn the effort into goals.

no real difference from pre lockdown , a disjointed error strewn  performance 

guess we can be happy with a point all in all but unless  we improve we are going down .

We played pretty well and created a few decent chances, but it's really hard to judge under the circumstances. Clean sheet is a positive at least.

In isolation, this wasn’t too bad. We started both halfs well and did enough to get at least a goal. Allowing for lack of march fitness and sharpness, the performance was alright.

If that’s going to be enough is another question entirely.

Thought we'd comfortably lose so was pleasantly surprised with the performance. 

Of course the only thing the analysis and media will focus on is the goal not given (obviously ignoring the penalty we were denied which is pretty much comparable).

Performance wasn't bad, we had some decent chances and we were the better side but we are lacking good players in key areas, el ghazi and trez are not good enough to play on the wings in this league and Hause is terrible.

Luiz did well, when playing deepest of the midfield 3 either Sharp or McBurnie dropped back to cover him but he was decent on the ball especially in the first half and more importantly he saved us from Hause's brain fart.

Thought we were decent, but we are too blunder prone. We have to work hard for our opportunities but our opponents get them gift wrapped. Can't see us staying up.

I can’t be disappointed with that performance. We were on top for large parts, had way more attempts on goal than them and defending well. It wasn’t perfect, of course not, but there’s positives to take there. 
 

On to Chelsea now and we will hopefully have benefited fitness wise after today.
