The "swap" deal with Juve and Barca is apparently done.

Arthur to Juve for £72m that will be in the Barca financial numbers for this month. And Pjanic to Barca for £60m that will be put into next months figures for Barca.

Nice sneaky way to get around FFP.

Saw an article saying that as the original transfer fees get amortised down each season they can both claim £60m+ profit on these deals under FFP.

Just perfect.

It was just yesterday that I was listening to the Guardian podcast and they were talking about how Moyes spent time at RB Leipzig whilst he was unemployed and was looking to emulate their youth policy at West Ham and whether the board would go for it....and then I read this. :crylaugh:

Thiago signing for Liverpool

They were reporting a few weeks ago that it wasn't as bad as what he did at barca but he was making noise about his contract being up and wanting to leave so bayern would try and flog him, probably a lot like the sane deal it will look like good value, 29 but with how he plays age shouldn't be a problem

Has this been confirmed? There was a rumour that Liverpool (not for the first time) wanted a structured payment over 5 yrs. Hopefully, all selling clubs tell them to go **** themselves, they’ve just won a fortune winning the league.

Ex Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Chelsea and Fulham player Andre Schürrle has decided to retire at the age of 29 after being released by Borussia Dortmund.

Solid career winning the WC, PL and a bunch of cups. 22 in 57 for Germany.

Is he injured or just too wealthy to care?

There's an article in Der Speigel.

Basically he says football made him rich but lonely. He's lost the passion for it and felt no joy.

Right call to quit if you have the means to do so rather than to phone it in for 5 more years robbing some club of money you don't really need.

Everton have reportedly had a £35m bid for holjberg accepted

Don't think he's "typical Everton" in that he'll badly flop but still shopping in the PLs inflated market with a lot of money for not a solid gold signing

Probably the Osimhen money being spent by Lille.

Latest offer was about €60m + add ons by Napoli.

Lille also been linked with Jonathan David who'd be a smashing signing if they can pull it off. He's someone I'd hope we try for if we stay up.
