Arthur to juve for £70m

**** me barca are a badly run club

in return for 30 year old Pjanic

Interesting debate yesterday, would Barcelona qualify for Champions League without Messi in the squad

Of the line up that started yesterday Pique, Alba, Busquets, Vidal, Messi and Suarez are all over 30. Greizmann 29. All key players. Pjanic has been excellent in Serie A but he's 30 himself.

Think it's part of the reason Barca constantly blow up in the CL late on in normal seasons, they simply don't have the legs to compete on two fronts anymore.

inter play 3 at the back with wing backs, they've got candreva, moses and then Lazaro on loan at Newcastle (who have an option on him)

they're also sorted upfront with lukaku, Martinez and Esposito, decent in midfield with Eriksen, barella, gagliardini, brozovic and then decent at the back with de vrij, skriniar, godin and bastoni breaking through, spending big on the wing backs makes sense, they should challenge juve but they're so inconsistent

more surprised in madrid letting him go, Carvajal is 28 so he wont be 1st choice any time soon there but fullbacks don't grow on trees

The "swap" deal with Juve and Barca is apparently done.

Arthur to Juve for £72m that will be in the Barca financial numbers for this month. And Pjanic to Barca for £60m that will be put into next months figures for Barca.

Nice sneaky way to get around FFP. And the agents still get their cut as it counts as 2 separate transfers.

Ain't football swell.

Edit: The Pjanic deal not confirmed yet.

Need pep round 2

Need a hell of a lot more than that. They have a worse transfer policy than us. Barcelona need a reboot and go back to basics, only so much can get Messi to do.

Messi, Ter stegen, De Jong maybe keep Suarez but I wouldn't be keen on keeping many others and rebuild.

Real have poached a lot of talented youngsters in recent times and are set to dominate La Liga

Not with how they line up

Last summer they lost ribery and robben, this year they've lined up with muller gnarby and coman as a 3 off lewandowski, if he's moaning about games at city then bayern won't be guaranteed to be better, coutinho deal isn't being made permanent and neither will the perisic deal

They're also meant to be trying to shift martinez, boateng and maybe thiago which will shift some wages off the books, signed a couple of teenagers and are being linked with dest from ajax

Done deal now.

Also it appears that RB Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan will move withing the Red Bull group and switch to RB Leipzig rather than to Plop or the other clubs he's been linked with.

According to FM Salzburg have a couple of decent players with the Hungarian midfielder who I haven't got a chance of spelling his name being the crown jewell them also onguene, okafor and adeyemi

Thiago signing for Liverpool

They were reporting a few weeks ago that it wasn't as bad as what he did at barca but he was making noise about his contract being up and wanting to leave so bayern would try and flog him, probably a lot like the sane deal it will look like good value, 29 but with how he plays age shouldn't be a problem

Would Crewe accept £5m for both NG and Pickering? I think that would be a sensible move if we go down.

Possibly. don’t think they would want sell though   And would take a large offer.

Those two,  Harry Pickering, Owen Dale and Tom Lowery are the key player’s to them mounting another promotion push
