That’s a good couple of days for NUFC with Wilson, Fraser (free) and Jamal Lewis. When we were int eh championship we still didn't manage to get wages under control. We missed out on the jump in prem money being relegated and still had some stupid wages to pay and had we not got promoted when we did the parachute money was gone. We narrowly missed out on administration during the same period and were a basket case. Turning against Purslow for pointing out the obvious is lunacy. This year we need to make some progress and avoid being in a relegation fight. Next year we can improve some more and then we will have some more clout wages wise to sign a different calibre of player. The amount of panic in here is a bit much, we are trying to get what we need without getting fleeced on fees and wages in a very weird market this summer. Most of the shit that people are getting sanctimonious about aren't even facts and mostly based on some false Twatter ITK bullshit most of the time. The reality is that we've signed two players so far and there remains just under 30 days left in the transfer window and alot can still happen in this time. I don't think it's worth getting too bent out of shape about rumours that aren't true and I would just focus on the facts. Think I mentioned Joachim Andersen a week or so back. 25 years old CB who did well at Sampdoria but struggled to start for Lyon last season. Yeah we spent a bunch of money but most were on c£10m-£15m signings which in prem terms is Jack shit.
