I'd like to think we'd be winning the majority against the Championship top 7 with the squad we have now. At least AVG: 2.

Our championship team compared to our Premier League team wasn’t a million miles apart.

Just look at this West Brom team that finished 2nd. It's god awful. The year before, a team finishing 5th got promoted and managed to stay up

And while some of the newer players were clearly big improvements (Luiz for Whelan for instance), some were not (Wesley for Abraham).

What are you smoking? I like to criticise as much as the next villa fan (it’s practically a nervous tic at this point) but come on, be realistic. I would have bitten my own arm off for the outcome (despite some individual results) of the last 2 years. They have earned our thanks given where they have brought (and kept) us. If they are not the answer, then I think @beachboys1and I are asking very different questions. Edited September 4, 2020 by Sgl

It's hard to see the porn dwarf letting that go as well. Hopefully this messes up their season, are relegated and default on their miserly payments for their taxpayer funded stadium and are turfed out of it.
