Amine Gouiri off to Nice for not much. Would have been a good signing. Celtic were sniffing.

£6m

Not only based on FM that seems mad, a CL chasing team selling an U21 player to another team for that little? How much do Liverpool sell their cast offs to Bournemouth for? Start at £20m

Nice giving it a go with quazillionaire Jim Ratcliffe sticking dosh in. Made four or five outstanding young signings.

Wouldn't be surprised at all the see Mounir Chouiar who we've been linked with go there for next season.

Mentioned Malang Sarr.  Few weeks back when we stood a chance of staying up as the type of player we should be targeting .. Oh well

As a championsihp club we still should be able to sign some good players, ones that you wouldn't nornally expect to go to the championship. Wouldn't surrprise me all that much if we actually managed to sign better players than we did last summer, and if our squad ended up being stronger than it is now.

How's Dolberg been for Nice out of interest? I got the impression his development has stalled a bit since his breakthrough at Ajax 2-3 years ago, perhaps one we could look to sign?

Edit: Just seen he got Nice player of the year so bit out of our range.

Angel Gomez seem to be leaving Manure "on a free". Anyone know anything about his intentions?

I know he's been linked to some big clubs but is he someone who might take a move backwards to get more regular game time  or will he move to another big club.

Also, is he any good?

I would guess that he's already got an offer on the table, from either a European club or another PL club. He's represented England at three age groups, so there's potential there. It seems he's unwilling to sign the contract he was offered, was that because his agent has found a club willing to offer him more cash now or because he thinks he will develop as a player better elsewhere? Either way, I would think it's unlikely that he will move too far down the league, if he stays in England.

I have been told we very interested in for Adrian Grbic from Clermont Foot regardless of what happens this summer. 23 yo Austrian also linked to Brighton, Rangers & Celtic.

Know eff all about him but was told he is a dead ball specialist ...

Centre-forward wth seventeen goals and four asssts in twenty-six appearances in Ligue 2. Indeed seems to be good at free-kicks. Was thinking just recently wouldn't surprise me if we tried to get a few bargains from France this transfer window.

Could be nothing and was just passing in what I was told and I’m by no ways ITK just used to work for OUFC and heard it from an old colleague who is still in the game. He told me of our interest in Mateta last summer before his injury.

we could use the situation to get rid of the Douglas Luiz buy-back deal.

I can't imagine man city ever triggering that clause to be honest.

Nor me, I read loads of comments to that effect and it baffles me every time.

Man City are like 4-5 levels above us. Grealish is 'maybe' just about their level, on a good day - and helped by him being British (for the quota). Luiz is 2-3 levels below Jack. He wouldn't even get into City's bench. I think we're in a good position with Luiz, he stays, he proves himself and we tell him we will accept good offers the following year.

It's probably unlikely but they are losing David Silva, Fernandinho is about 35 now and De Bruyne may also leave if they get banned from CL so there could be a void in CM for them in near future.

He's certainly not good enough to get in their team but Pep was gushing over his potential not so long ago and I really don't think that was just to get him a work permit. As we've seen with him this season really good coacing ironing out his flaws on the training pitch and you have a good midfielder.

Perhaps Man. City will buy him back and loan him out to an RB Leipzig standard team for the season to really sharpen him up. They've done that with Angelino who's played well and should challenge for a Man. City place next season.

Thing is Smith when asked about it ages ago said that if Man City did execute the buyback it would represent a 'signigicant profit' for us.

Rumour (albeit consistent rumour) puts it at £25m is activated this season and £30m thereafter. If that happened would it be the worst news? He's improving agreed, but it would be the first profit on a player we sold since I can't even remember!

With the sad news for the fans of Wigan going into Administration we should take advantage and bid for Antonee Robinson and young striker Joe Gelhardt whose destined for bigger things.

There is a pretty interesting kid playing for IFK Norrköping in Sweden.

Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson. 17 y.o Icelandic midfielder who is the son of our ex player Joey Guðjónsson and who was born in Sutton Coldfield no less.

He's only just turned 17 so one very much for the future, but he's already on the verge of breaking into the Norrköping starting 11. A team that is the best in the country currently.

I've only watched him twice but I have friends down there who follow Norrköping really closely and they say he is something special.

Might be someone to scout asap. He will get picked up by a bigger club very soon.

Nathan Byrne is usually really good when I see highlights of their games, right wing back and was constant source of crosses v Stoke which lead to two goals.

If Gulibert wants to go back to France or something I'd look to get him in as think he has quality to play in premier league and will be going cheap.

Sheff Utd now in for John Swift (Reading) . Chris Wilding doing such a great job at Sheff Utd.

Swift would have been a good option this summer for us.

Be a good option to fill in for Norwood. Interesting they're going for him over Ejaria.
